Burn and Ulcer Management

Hyalofill®s an absorbent, soft and conformable fibrous fleece (Hyalofill -F) or rope (Hyalofill -R), which is entirely composed of HYAFF®, an ester of hyaluronic acid (HA). When in contact with wound exudate, the HYAFF turns into a soft gel that maintains a moist wound environment, promotes the wound healing process and allows a painless and easy removal of the dressing.

Hyalofill® wound dressings absorb and wick away wound fluid, and they can be cut to suit various wound shapes without linting.

Indicactions:

Hyalofill-F is FDA-cleared with the following indications: over the counter use for treatment of abrasions, lacerations and minor cuts. It can be utilized under the supervision of a healthcare professional for exuding wounds such as ulcers including diabetic, pressure stages (I-IV) & leg; surgical wounds including post-operative, donor sites & dermatological; management of wounds prone to bleeding: mechanically/surgically debrided; donor sites; and traumatic wounds.

Hyalofill-F is CE-marked for the following indications: treatment of acute and chronic exuding wounds including venous leg ulcers, donor skin graft sites, pressure ulcers (stage II-IV), surgical wounds, and traumatic wounds.

Hyalofill-R is FDA-cleared and CE-marked for the following indications: treatment of deep exuding wounds, sinuses and fistulae.
